Pretty much the same here, I enjoy the experience for the same reasons...although at times not so much.

Personal travel is awesome, the 'world is my oyster' feeling as you mention, and business travel can be, but is mostly not. People romanticize it and I guess it's cool initially but the more one does it the more it becomes a pain. Still, having said that, it can make for a nice change of scenery. I sometimes get to do road-trips also, I prefer those.
