Instead, some people become part of our lives who slowly drain our energy happiness and self respect.
According to psychology it is not necessary to fight every battle or respond to every argument. Sometimes true strength lies not in replying but in choosing to ignore. The first type People who constantly complain.
These are the kind of people who always find something negative in every situation. If the weather is pleasant they complain about the heat. If it rains they complain about the mud. If they have a job they say the salary is too low if they don’t they blame their bad luck. Such people drain your energy. Spending too much time with them can make you start seeing the world from a negative perspective as well. Helping them is a good thing but getting trapped in their constant web of negativity is not wise.
Second type People who constantly criticize.
These are the people who will find faults in everything you do. If you succeed they’ll say it was just luck. If you fail they’ll say We told you so. Such people quietly eat away at your confidence. Psychology says that a person who repeatedly hears criticism eventually begins to doubt themselves. That’s why it’s not necessary to respond to every criticism. Ignoring certain voices is also a form of self respect.
Third type Gossipers and backbiters.
The ones who speak badly about someone else in front of you today will speak badly about you in front of someone else tomorrow. Such people poison relationships. Listening to their talk may give temporary entertainment but in the long run it destroys both trust and peace.

If you buy something they will buy something better. If you achieve something they will try to outdo you. Such people don’t build friendships they turn everything into a competition. Being around them makes life feel like a race. Remember life is not a competition it is a journey and every journey has its own unique path.
Fifth type People who play the victim card.
These are the people who will always present themselves as the victim in every situation. Even if they are wrong somehow you will end up being blamed. Such people never accept responsibility for their actions. Being around them can leave you constantly feeling guilty. Psychology says it is important to maintain emotional distance from such individuals otherwise you may become emotionally exhausted yourself.
Sixth type Manipulative people.
These are the ones who don’t say things directly but control you through subtle hints. Sometimes they punish you with silence sometimes they apply emotional pressure and sometimes they remind you of their favors to get their way. Such people break your boundaries. If you constantly feel afraid of upsetting someone understand that manipulation may be present there.
Seventh type People who are jealous of your success.
These people may congratulate you outwardly but they are not truly happy for you. Your happiness bothers them. Their negative energy can leave you feeling confused. It is not necessary to share every achievement with such people. Sometimes keeping certain joys to yourself is also wisdom.
Here is one important thing to understand ignoring someone does not mean hatred. Ignoring simply means prioritizing your mental peace. It’s not necessary to leave every relationship but it’s also not necessary to take everything to heart. You cannot change everyone but you can certainly set your own boundaries.
