Who will be my new owner? The sad doll wondered after being abandoned in a corner of the old house. Am I destined to be forgotten in this place? Of course, who would want to play with me if I am only a piece of an abandoned museum? Tears ran down her cheek and erased her painted face.
But one day, everything seemed to change. A family had moved into the house, something that, after so many years, seemed impossible. What joy for the doll!
It took a few days, but the girl from the new family found her and joyfully said, what a beautiful doll I will play with her a lot. From happiness, the doll broke the only unwritten rule of toys and jumped for joy, followed by a burst of laughter.
With a scream, the girl ran to where her mom was and told her what had happened. The mom, who was very superstitious, only came up with one solution: to burn the doll.
Quien será mi nuevo dueño se preguntaba la triste muñeca despuĂ©s de quedar abandonada en un rincĂłn de la antigua casa, acaso estarĂ© destinada a quedar olvidada en este lugar. Claro que sĂ quien querrĂa jugar conmigo si solo soy una pieza de museo abandonada. Las lágrimas se corrĂan por su mejilla y borraban su cara pintada. Pero un dĂa todo parecĂa cambiar, una familia se habĂa mudado a la casa algo que despuĂ©s de tantos años parecĂa imposible, que alegrĂa para la muñeca. DemorĂł unos dĂas pero la niña de la nueva familia la encontrĂł y alegre dijo que bella muñeca jugarĂ© mucho con ella. De la alegrĂa la muñeca rompiĂł la Ăşnica regla no escrita de los juguetes y dio un salto de alegrĂa seguido de una carcajada. En un grito la niña corriĂł a donde estaba mamá y le contĂł lo que habĂa pasado. La mamá que era muy supersticiosa solo se le ocurriĂł una soluciĂłn, quemar la muñeca.
