Your mother, your mother, your mother is the message of the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W when a companion of the prophet asked him about the issue of filial piety:
"O Messenger of Allah, to whom should I be devoted first?"
He replied,
"Your mother."
Then he asked again, "Then who?"
He replied,
"Your mother."
He asked again, "Then who?"
He replied,
"Your mother."
He asked again, "Then who?"
He replied,
"Your father."
(HR. Bukhari and Muslim)
From here we can see how the sacrifice of a mother becomes more important, because they are the ones who feel what it is like to conceive, give birth, breastfeed, raise, educate, and care for children with patience. All of that is a form of great sacrifice that we can take like a sentence she went to war.
They women in their journey of life are really full of struggles, where when they are created as women means they enter the battlefield that they must bear. Fighting the weight and fatigue of being pregnant for 9 months, enduring the pain of childbirth, providing patience when breastfeeding and raising.
This is not just a role against lust, where all of that could have been avoided if they did not want to feel it. However, it is a fate that must be faced and endured. This is also not a war about power but a war to feel happiness, the happiness of love and affection.
We no longer need to deny and dismiss how much a mother sacrifices, are there still those of us who don't want to love her?
