Greg has been playing professional football for five years but he hasn't made much money to take care of his extended family needs. A couple of injuries had limited his playing time. That had also impacted on his final take-home. The last injuries he sustained could not be managed properly by his parent club. Greg was subsequently loaned out to a lesser club with an option to buy him outrightly.
It turned out that the loaned club had better medical staff who took Greg in and handled his injuries professionally. In a space of three months Greg fully recovered and started playing. At first, he was playing barely thirty minutes. As time progressed he started playing for longer times and even impacting in games, scoring crucial goals that were earning points for his team.
At the end of the football season, Greg had helped his team to be promoted to tht elite division. His parent club sold him to the loaned club and made huge profits.
As the new season began, Greg picked up form where he stopped, chunning out mouthwatering performances week in week out. At some point in the league, they were even occupying the first position before a dip in form pushed them to third.
Greg's wages was increased astronomically and his release clause raised up. This was done to scare away potential suitors to pure him away.
In the meantime, Greg relocated his family to a better apartment. He even took out a life insurance policy to ensure his family could pay off the mortgage if he passed away.
At the end of the league season, Greg and his team came second and qualified for intercontinental competitions.
