I was coming home after a long shift today, I was completely exhausted knowing that I still have more work to get done when I go home, and I started to feel a bit ungrateful, but then I instantly decided to write a gratitude journal and share it with you all guys to remind you of some of the blessings God gave us.
I'm grateful for having a lovely family that I love endlessly.
I'm grateful for having a beautiful house and a shelter, while millions sleep on the streets.
I'm grateful for having a job that even if tiring but is still more than good, provides me with a good salary and helps me progress every day and sharpen my skills.
I'm grateful for having food at my home with endless supply, while millions of people sleep hungry.
I'm grateful that I have enough money to cover my needs, and I'm not in need of anything that I don't have.
I'm grateful for having friends and people that I love and who love me, I'm grateful for their existence in my life.
I'm grateful for having a sound body, hearing, vision, face, eyes, arms, legs, and well-functioning organs.
I'm grateful for having the opportunity to choose, to choose where I'd like to work or which career should I pursue, while millions of people have no choice.
I'm grateful for having the ability to walk, run, jump, and live my life without restrictions.
I'm grateful for having clothes that are more than enough, while millions of people have little or nothing to wear.
I'm grateful I have an internet connection and a mobile device that allow me to connect with the world, access millions of resources with a single click.
I'm grateful I was well-educated, I'm grateful for all the skills and the experience I have gained throughout the years.
I'm grateful for having a well-functioning mind that is not impaired or damaged.
I'm grateful for not feeling any pain, while millions of people suffer to perform the vital functions.
I'm grateful that among millions of illiterate people I can be here today writing an article and sharing it with the world in a second language that I can speak in.
There are endless blessings that we have, to the point that we can't even count them, and we'll never be able to. Always thank God for what you have, feel grateful and practice gratitude on a daily basis, because it's a real life-changer.
