Today I want to write about an unfortunate event that happened 3 years ago at Las Vegas.

On October 1, 2017, a 64 year old man brutally shot and killed 58 people and injured possibly 800-900 innocent people who were enjoying a concert.
This has got to be the most mysterious attack I have ever read about that is why it fails to get out of my mind. It just gives me nightmares when I think about it yet it brings on so many questions to my mind.
Let me explain to you how it happened. The shooter Stephen Paddock was a 64 year old man who used to work as an auditor and also had real estate business. He was well off with money and there were stories of him losing big time in gambling but before the shooting he had cleared all those debts.
He had possession of heavy automatic rifles like the AR-15 and the AR-10. What is unbelievable for me is how he managed to bring multiple boxes containing these weapons and ammunition for them to the 32nd floor of Hotel Mandalay Bay where he shot down the innocent people from a window in his room. Reports also suggest that he had the the hotel bellmen bring him these suitcases to his room. How these suitcases escaped security is anyone's guess.
On the night of October 1st 2017 Stephen broke his room window and open fired around a 1000 bullets in total to the innocent people across the building who were enjoying the final day of the 'Life is Beautiful' music concert. He also shot the fuel storage tank which was at the Airport close to the concert however since it was only storing Aircraft grade Kerosene it did not light up.
As police got to his room, Stephen ended his own life.
The bigger question about this unfortunate event is the motive behind the attack. All notes, his laptop were checked yet there was no single clue as to why Stephen did it. At 64, most people are thinking about retiring from their routine work schedules and taking a break in life.
There is no one to ask this question to. The only man who knows it is no longer alive. It pains me to see that a few of those people who went to watch the concert never returned home. Many who were in their 20s and were just starting out their lives, yet it all ended in seconds. All because of one man's decision.
I know that owning guns is pretty common in the US however such events makes one think about the morality of it.
