The sun was shining bright in the center of the sky on a Saturday afternoon the breeze was so hot even when it blew so much, the fish were testy and the ponds are drying up so we headed to the farm that hot afternoon to feed the cat fish and fill up the ponds with fresh water.
Afterwards a call came in and it was my boss so I didn’t hesitate to pick up and he said there is a job for you this afternoon are you free? Yes I replied and demanded to know the nature of the job, taking a head count of fingerling cat fish that was the job. He sent the contact of my client and i called for directions and time for the job.
Reaching to the destination I saw a red gate as direct and my client was already there sorting the fingerlings so we exchanged greeting and it happens that she speaks my language which made communication easier for us. Not taking much time i set in and started counting without asking questions based on payment.
After the job was done it took me 2hrs to finish up, I was able to count 3336 number of fingerlings hoping to get huge amount of money for it but then I was told that the prince for one fingering is 1Naira and I counted 3336 which is 3,336 Naira ($2.5 approximately) that mean each our I was paid $1.25, it wasn’t worth it but I still had to take the cash and headed home.
