Dan was a handsome young man with an eye for adventure. He had a blue motorbike and enjoyed doing bike freestyles in the neighborhood. His parents had always been against it, but he continued anyway. There wasn't any spot that he knew of in the city that he hadn't performed a stunt at. He was very popular in his neighborhood for his stunts.
"you know there's this cool new spot downtown called the Devils slope. We could definitely pull a couple tricks there."
Said Joe Dan's best friend.
Joe and Dan were like five and six ever since they'd met during a bike stunt show. After the show they both made the decision to begin stunting. And since then they've been side by side conquering every quest that stood in their way. The Devils slope was set to be their next.
"sure, I don't see why not. Tomorrow?" Dan replied
"sounds good to me." Joe confirmed
"There'll be no such thing" Dan's father who had been eavesdropping for a while rebuked
"Common Dad, don't be such a killjoy, it's just a couple tricks and flips" Dan said
"My decision is final" Dan's Dad said
"ugh, okay Dad" Dan answered
The next day at around 2pm, Dan told his parents he was leaving the house to get some groceries. He took his bike and headed to the Devils slope instead. He met up with Joe and they began doing the basic stunts like the lazyboy, the switch back, and some others. Then Joe suggested they do the double handstand. They'd done it before but not on a slope so steep. Dan agreed to it as he wasn't one to back down on a challenge.
During their mid-air handstand their bikes got a little too close and crashed into each other. Because of the momentum both bikes and riders were sent flying, they skid off the hot tar for a couple meters before coming to a stop.
They were both badly injured. Joe required ten stitches, while Dan required seventeen stitches. Dan regretted not listening to his father.
The end
This is day four of Dreemport's Sublime Staff Week Challenge and I am supporting . If you're willing to participate, read here for more details.
I didn't make use of the most dangerous writing app this time (too dangerous, lol) but I set my own timer to five minutes. After five minutes I made a few grammatical adjustments and added a couple sentences so it would be more entertaining. I really hope you liked it. Tell me what you think.
Thank you for reading this post, your support and feedback is greatly appreciated. Have a wonderful day.
