What do you see:
People, they appear to be moving to and fro . Some are well dressed some aren't. With the fruits, and other variables on tables with people standing on either side. They look to be buying and selling.
What do you feel:
I feel the rush. The feeling one gets when there's no time. Seems everyone is rushing to somewhere. There's strong desire to acquire something and leave as soon as one gets done.
**A Short Story: **
Milad was staring at the skyscraper, wondering how people were able to build something so collosal. He continued walking, when a car horned loudly. The driver was yelling at another motorist for something he can only imagine was not that much of a trouble. As he continued he kept thinking of all the things he was going to learn in the city and in turn teach his brother Pawan.
He got to the supermarket. It was totally different from that of the town where he had lived for most of his life. Everything was frozen, or kept in refrigerators. There where meat and fish in frozen glass-door freezers, the fruits where also sealed and packed together with other vegetables in refrigerators. "No wonder Uncle Kazim looked pale" He thought to himself.
Milad had grown accustomed to the busy market in the small town of cashmere where he grew up. The market was opened every sunday and people would troop in buying and selling. Huge sacs of wheat where hurled in wheelbarrows across the narrow market path. He remembered how he got lost on a sunday before the new year. He had gone to the market with his aunt Marhjid.
"Don't go staring at people in the market" aunt Marhjid had warned him before they left for the market. She held his hands firmly as they entered the market. When she stopped to buy some tomatoes, she gave him a bag to hold. Milad saw a man selling dates. He loved dates and wanted to stop the man for his aunt to buy some for him. He followed the man but he moved quickly, so he ran after him.
"I wanted my aunt to buy some dates for me" Milad said to the trader.
"I can't see her here, and I have to continue moving as alot of people want to buy also" the trader said, and was about to go, but turned around.
"I'll give you some dates for free boy" he said smiling,"that would cover you the work you did running after me" he added.
After Milad took the date he started searching for his aunt. He didn't know where to start searching for her. People moved about in the market quickly. He went back to the tomatoe seller and stood under his shed.
"Your mother had been looking for you" the man said. "You can wait here for her" he added. Luckily for Milad his aunt passed by the shed as she had searched in vain for him.
She just smiled as she saw him with the dates in his hands.
