THE TREASURE IN THE EARTHEN VESSEL.
There were times I celebrated only BRILLIANCE and BEAUTY; anybody that doesn't fit in, I never welcomed into my space and if they persisted, I resisted with all skillfulness.
Over the years, LIFE HAS HAPPENED TO ME. My tool of respect failed me. My instinctive TOOL of value selection let me down. Those who were comforting shoulders for me in the critical moments of my destiny were neither the brilliant nor the beautiful.
You see, those people you will NOT TALK to because they don't appeal to your IDEAL of EXCELLENCE may be the ones carrying the treasures you are seeking.
They may not be BEAUTIFUL but they have all that it takes to HELP YOU. They are equipped and solid enough to do it.
That person you are saying she is not beautiful may be the ANSWER to your PRAYERS of a good home, caring wife, and a super mum for your kids. She doesn't have to look it to be that, there is a treasure in her.
That cave you are unwilling and refusing to enter may be the one containing the treasures you are seeking. You need your EYES of understanding to be ENLIGHTENED.
There is deception in the air. There is seduction all around. But there is ILLUMINATION in your human SPIRIT, you need to get attuned.
UGLINESS HAS NEVER IMPLIED low intelligence quotient, neither does it suggest low emotional intelligence, and never will it mean low spiritual quotient.
Ugliness is not a definer of powerlessness, it is not a sign of uselessness, it is not a symbol of cluelessness, it is never an herald of unseriousness, and neither is it a clue of aimlessness in life.
UGLINESS is not a TRADEMARK of MEDIOCRITY. Ugliness is not a sin qua non for being unfortunate in life. It is not a pointer to the strength and integrity of one's character
There are treasures in people. You need light, even in broad daylight, to see this. Most times, we see so clearly that we see nothing. And we hear to sharply that we hear nothing.
Showing LOVE to everyone will help you more than your genius can help you; and FOLLOWING the LEADING of your BORN AGAIN SPIRIT will help you more than your best tool of value selection.
