I wanted to run away
From challenges that I had to face
From difficulties that I will encounter
And from trials I had to triumph
For those I'll leave behind
I would offer them;
the desperate cries at sunsets
The silent plea and midnight tears
How wonderful it is to escape life
To hide away from the monsters
To forget the pains and worries
And just drift away with our fantasies
My mind, take me away
Allow me to escape this reality
