Yes, I thought hurry up and do your walk. Then I don't have to worry about it later in the day.
I did have a nurse come by recently and told me my blood pressure is too high. And sure maybe it is too high, but I don't want to get into blood pressure meds. She did ask me if I wanted blood pressure meds and I told her, No.
That I would walk more if I had to, and eat better. I really don't want to get into a meds intake as most of my family had done.
I would rather eat good food and stay away from flour and sugar.
So I walk and as I walk I notice people with old tags on their car, the eldest tag I seen today was from 2007, now that is pretty old, if a cop finds them, they would be driving an illegal vehicle, well in California that is.
Walking does help one to think about things.
Like man I need to work on my backyard.
In the back right corner of my backyard was a tree stump, that has been cut down many times, but I have neglected for the past few years and there was growth, the growth reached up to the telephone lines and my own AT&T fiber network line, well I wanted those limbs out of there and keep the fiber network line and the telephone line clear.
So this happened over time. I did order a hook on a pole that had a blade and pullies and a long cord. I bought it from Amazon a while back, but just recently opened the package and tried it out. I found that the tool is very useful in cutting small branches that fit in that hook.
So I used it to cut around the telephone line and around the AT&T fiber network line. When I finished that I used my electric chainsaw to cut down the rest. Yes, I did have to use a long extension cord and I did cut it all down to about 2 feet above ground level.
Here is a picture after I cut it down.
See the tree stump with all the sawdust on it and around it?
Here are some of the limbs that I did cut off.
So there is still a lot of clean up to do after the chain sawing. I will work on it slowly.
So back to my walk. I just walked around my block and my block is about 3 quarters of a mile long. As I turned the corner I notice the heat, but I was almost home.
So I finished my walk, about 3 quarters of a mile long.
Let's end with a scripture, with Jesus speaking, And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Matthew 10:28.
