When I bought the 1994 Mazda B3000 pickup it did have this aftermarket stereo on it. It is a JVC KD-G120R, I got that right off the face of the stereo.
The thing was that it was flashing the wrong time and I do hate looking at the wrong time, but does one want to pull out the cell phone just to check the time? Well, no.
So I started to fool around with the dials and buttons, but I could not figure it out. I even went to different Youtube videos, but they didn't have JVC KD-G120R.
Then I thought, maybe I can get a manual of this particular stereo. Yes, there was a manual for that stereo online. So I looked it up and found some instructions. Here is what I found:
I just did a print screen and put it in Paint and cropped out the unnecessaries, now I have some instructions to follow.
After following those instructions I did get the time right on my stereo. It is always good to have the right time in your vehicles as it help make sure you are on time or not.
One thing I noticed about this stereo is that it can't play a CD. Well it was built to play CD's, but I guess the mechanism for the CD is somehow broke, of course I can buy a new stereo, but maybe I'll just use the stereo radio for now. I can always buy another stereo later.
I will mention that I just got my truck back from the mechanics. I had them work on tixing the engine tempurature gauge and replacing a light bulb in my dash cluster.
I want the tempurature gauge to work so I know if the vehicle is running too hot or not.
Also I needed that light bulb in the cluster so I can see the fuel gauge and oil pressure guage at night. That part of the dash was not lit up. So now it all works, but the mechanics did find someting.
You see they found that the water pump is leaking some fluid and the coolant smells foul. So next week I will take the 1994 Mazda B3000 back to the mechanics to fix those things.
Let's end with scripture, as it is written, with Jesus speaking, Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:29-30.
