When the couple noticed that they were trailing behind in the competition, they immediately started an argument with each other, and they did not know that this was the very problem which was trailing them behind in the competition. They were not focusing on their personal relationship, which was very faulty, and it needed resolution. They were not addressing the core problems, and this competition was all about addressing the core problems between the couples, and when the consultant told them that they have to address their core issues between them and resolve them, and be understanding for each other.
This is when they realised and started working on it, and finally they were happy that they listened to the consultant and resolved their issues. The competition became secondary, and their relationship became primary for them.
