If a mantis shrimp showed up to Zara’s home one day and looked around, it would almost certainly find every color it was capable of experiencing and then some. A bit like if a drunk unicorn had thrown up the entire rainbow (even the parts invisible to humans) all over the house.
Strangely enough, Zara was convinced that she had held back and made artistic choices with subtlety in mind. The lime green rug was essential to balance off the Barney purple love seat with the mustard yellow cushions. And without the sea foam colored accent wall the remaining gray and magenta polka dotted walls would have just looked ridiculous. The jade green fountain was there purely for the Feng Shui.
Whether other people agreed (they didn't) or not, it looked and felt like home to her and that was what mattered.
