Let's start from the beginning. Growing up, Arielle noticed that children of the same age with her often avoided being friends with her and some even made fun of her. She was initially too young to understand but gradually as she was growing up, she came to understand why.
When Arielle got to the Adult age, the first thing she did was to have a better understanding of her skin color and if it's hereditary. She was also searching for a medical solution that could solve her skin color issue and she was really hopeful.
A lot of times, people around her that really cared, had often explained how important she was and would even advise her to learn to live with it. Arielle would often get angry at this request and would ask if they were in her shoes would they remain still?
One day in her attempt to clear her head she decided to visit the beach and she saw some people tanning their skins. The idea initially crossed her mind but right at the same moment she concluded that she don't want a suntan. She decided to genuinely love herself and her skin.
