From where I come from, we often categorize people with bad behaviour or character as having a black heart. People who are called these are often seen as heartless or without conscience, and those who are kind-hearted are often seen as those with white heart.
Now, all this makes me wonder, and I ask myself what makes human behavior? Is it our immediate environment (Nature), our upbringing (Nurture), or could it be already defined by what we are made up of (Genetics)? All these questions and many more are what play in my head as a debate.
I know that there are so many unknowns or variable is life, and one of them that plays a great role in shaping our behavior is the “Human Will”, because there is freedom of choice. A man is expected to think before he acts, and those who can’t need to learn how to improve (that’s the power of choice).
I know that there are people with nasty behaviors/characters that are not very colorful. However, we should never be too quick to judge, as just as our faces are different, so are our individual challenges.
