One day, she was asked to make her best abstract painting and she did. Although she was still learning, the painting was still beautiful and because of this a lot of people were jealous of her.
Due to some unknown circumstances, her dad went bankrupt and this eventually led to them losing everything. Lucy was a very smart girl and she knew her father might be unable to continue paying for her school fees, so she decided to learn as much as she could.
One of the few things her dad had always told her was that "she should never be afraid to let go of things because if they are thoroughly yours, it would find its way back to you". She had a lot of artwork while she was still at the school but many of them were not displayed due to some issues. She had always been told to always add an initial or a means to identify all her Artworks so she was not scared that it would get missing.
After some few months, she had to drop out of the school but she continued practicing at home and in fact she became popular in her area. Many years later, she went for an auction and guess what, she saw that her very first Artworks from school on display.
Because of the shock that was completely written on her face, someone next to her had to ask what the issue was and she had explained that the artwork, the one on display, was hers.
After some investigation she found out that it truly was her and she was asked what she wanted to do. She asked for it to be auctioned and it sold at a very high price. She used the money to revive her dad's company and she kept on saying the words her father had told her and those words became her mantra.
