What? Nelly asked, her curiosity piqued despite herself.
I think they are moving someone else in.
Nelly joined her sister at the net curtains and lifted a corner, and put her eyes to the window.
Hmmm, she said, spotting the removals van. I think you are right! How exciting! Someone new to get to know!
Lily looked at her sister.
Or someone else to keep an eye on. Who knows what trouble they may bring!
