Yesterday I switched homes. I left Belgium and will be in Spain for 3 months. It's hard to tell witch one is my first/second home. But that's another story.
I created Mo like 2 weeks ago and this will be the next episode of his adventures. I combine an illustration with a small text.
The last couple of days Mo was asking me a lot of questions. He had never travelled before and was wondering how that goes. Do we have our tickets? Do you know the way to the airport? How do you know which plane to take? And it kept on going! But finally we arrived yesterday morning at the airport. So far so good. I had my early morning coffee and was looking outside how the plane was being prepared. Suddenly I noticed Mo was gone! Antwerp Airport is a very small airport, but I can assure you that looking for Mo wasn't easy!
First I looked in the restrooms, then the little coffee shop, but I couldn't find him.
Meanwhile I heard the announcement for boarding! My stress level was rising. Where could Mo be? This was not the time to play games!
There's also a shop, similar to the duty free shops in the airports. But of course no duty free because we fly in Europe. I was chasing around the shop and looked at the shelves with liquors, between the perfume bottles and the toiletries, but I couldn't find Mo. Then I saw the sweet and chocolate section and stupid me! I should haver checked there at the beginning. Mo is a real chocoholic and he has a sweet tooth. I urged him to go to the gate and told him that I have chocolate at home. As I'm a chocolate lover as well, he believed me and we rushed to the gates. Luckily we arrived just in time to catch our flight. 3 hours later we arrived at our home and the first thing Mo asked: "Can I have some chocolate?"
I made this drawing using one of my old pictures taken at the airport and did the drawing in Medibang.
See you next time!
