The Path of Existence
Existence is a one-way path
It's intricately linked to
our individual resources
We inherit, carry in our
genes the imprints of
our ancestors
A significant portion of
automatic actions
Where we believe
ourselves to be free thinkers
But the reality is different
From childhood, we're urged to:
"Don't say this, don't do that.
Behave well, don't think,
follow orders."
When we face uncertainty,
we simply obey
And our own conscience
continually clashes with
that ingrained education*
This turns the path into
a route filled with potholes and falls
Reconciling all of this is complex,
andour errors become constant
Some are significant, and others
are small but frequent.
This doesn't create
two craters on our path of life
It's not just a matter of genetics,
nor just education,
but also a series of multiple
disappointments
In our effort to progress with joy,
we often stumble upon obstacles
Leaving us perplexed
The confusion is such that every day
becomes a challenge
Attaining transcendence and becoming
an adaptable person
in the face of circumstances seems an
insurmountable challenge
Therefore, what we must do is achieve daily
at least 60 percent control of our minds
Because 100 is unattainable
The desperate quest for endorphins,
serotonin, and other happiness hormones
leads us to engage in actions
that aren't the best, like impulsive
sexual desires,
compulsive shopping, expensive
hobbies, and excessive leisure
All these are actions that divert us,
and balance is the goal pursued by all of
humankind, which is afflicted
But there is hope if we only learn to
meditate and free ourselves from a life
without constraints.
Self-control in intimate relationships is crucial,
as otherwise, automatic behavior prevails.
In acquiring the latest technology, the television,
the vehicle, self-control to break free from the
automatic routine is essential.
If you keep it under control for a
few months, you won't change immediately,
but you'll identify the problem and
understand how to begin managing it.
