@hlezama/we-outburst-therefore-we-are-or-a-5-minute-freewrite
This week I would like to recommend the above freewrite by
. He writes about our emotional outbursts, and compares it to outbursts of nature, such as volcanoes and and earthquakes. We still love the earth, even though it sometimes does things we don't like. The implication I came away with was that we should still love people even though their emotional outbursts can be temporarily upsetting. And he asks two important questions: "Can we claim responsibility for the good as well as the bad? Can we heal and regulate ourselves like earth does?" I hope the answer to both is "yes."

I like
story about how two people, Thomas and Velma, who have known each other for 50 years and who were once married. They are trying to get back together, even remarry. But Velma wants to take things slow and Thomas wants to hurry them along. I like that Velma realizes that being back together for only 6 weeks is not enough time for her to know if Thomas is going to go back to his old ways that caused their split in the first place. And of course Thomas is telling her he has changed. Be smart Velma give it more time.

I came across some very good entries, however I recommend this one that has touched my heartstrings, as it talks about an elderly woman who has lost flexibility in her limbs and her body refused to let her do so many things she longed for, such as hugging her precious grandson tightly. It is a very common situation in the elderly who suffer from degenerative diseases such as arthritis or Parkinson's disease, where aging prevents them from carrying out what in everyday life was normal, such as hugging or holding the little ones in their arms, bringing them sadness and grief.

I have been reading many freewrites and I have found one that I really liked because it talks indirectly about a topic that I have always been passionate about, that is the need to believe in something, it is in itself an invitation to imagine, to create images while reading and think of ourselves as the protagonists of these scenes with our own variables, I mean the participation
, Sky beings, I invite you to read it slowly trying to imagine the variables to which it could refer and any comments that could be made. Cheers
