Good morning all! Evelyn's greetings rang through the quiet but busy hall. Am I missing anything already?
she asked.
Her question was directed to none in particular. Some people just stared at her and continued with what they were doing without saying a word, while others didn't react to her question.
She settled in her seat and started flipping through the pages of her project work. She wasn't bothered that her colleagues were looking anxious while going through their work.
A few moments later, the lecturer walked in and there was chaos in the hall.
He told them to line up for their project presentation.
At that point, Evelyn objected, 'Sir, you said the presentation would be in three days, and we are not ready.' John, who was in front of her, said, 'Speak for yourself, Evelyn.'
The lecturer said angrily, 'Didn't I give you up to two hours to prepare and submit your project?' 'Young lady, don't quote me wrongly.'
At this point, Evelyn realized that she missed an important information because she was more than an hour late.
Thank you for reading.
