Today was filled with warmth and gratitude as the atmosphere before Eid al-Adha became more meaningful through a basic food distribution activity for the community. Since morning, residents had started gathering with smiles and hopeful faces. The spirit of togetherness was clearly visible as everyone helped each other prepare and distribute the packages one by one.
The distribution of sembako may look simple, but behind every package there is care, attention, and a sincere desire to help others welcome Eid with happiness. Some elderly residents looked very touched when receiving rice, cooking oil, sugar, and other necessities. Moments like this remind us that sharing is not about how much we give, but about sincerity and compassion.
I also felt grateful to witness the strong sense of unity among the people. Everyone worked together without expecting anything in return. The approaching Eid al-Adha is not only about sacrifice, but also about strengthening social bonds and caring for those around us.
Hopefully this small activity can bring blessings to everyone involved and ease the burden of families who need support ahead of the celebration. May kindness continue to grow in our daily lives, not only during festive seasons but throughout the year.
