Aristocracy is the name given to the system in which political power is exercised by a privileged class, composed of nobles and the highest and wealthiest social classes.
The aristocratic thought, I think it is just that, or it should remain just a thought, a pretension of people who try to create an elite form of government or a very distinguished case in society because of their great knowledge, outstanding intellectuality and many goods.
The aristocrat can easily become a tyrant, since due to his position he can consider the population, the masses as an unworthy group and deserving of nothing.
The aristocrat is generally above the majority, due to his economic power and his intellect, he usually surrounds himself with people who, according to him, can be at his level, thus undervaluing the majority of the population and creating a gap between the government and the people.
The aristocrat, eats well, dresses well, his family is well off, but he will hardly care about the needs of the people, of those who suffer from hunger or disease in the midst of the people.
Without offending anyone, the aristocrat can become a racist. Now... I think that we are talking about a dominant class in the history of the past, that all things have changed and even when there are elites in the government systems, men and women who believe they are superior, the aristocracy is a social class that will be part of our history.
What about kings, princes, dukes and all those titles that still proliferate in some parts of the world, where kingship still exists and where descendants of the aristocracy still rule, I think that although they deserve respect as people, as human beings we should not pay obeisance to these titles of powerful families in the world.
This is just my opinion.
Let me know what you think!
