People say good thing takes time. Be it wine. Or extraction of oil. Like oil painting. Like baby in the womb. Or even a person going through a challenge.
I have not much knowledge on castor oil because I have never used it before, what I know is it is one of the popular ingredients in beauty product, like other oil such as jojoba oil, coconut oil, and argan oil. I also know castor oil is taken by crushing the beans. Maybe a little inaccurate but I try to recall my knowledge..
.
When I see the prompt of today, I recalled an article I read before about crushing a person in order to reveal his or her true self. And then from there, giving the person guidance to renew himself or herself and be the best version intended for his/her life. Like the way we get oil. The process of crushing it, and slowly extracting the oil. Such a precious tedious journey.
Maybe I was a having a rough day that instead of thinking about the oil, I was thinking of the above. My son is not having a good day...again. It is countless cycles, to me like unending. People whom have surgeries before indeed had to go through long term complications. I wish he doesn't need to go through this crushing moments in order for the good to come out. I wish he doesn't need to bear the pain.
But, I also know he has become stronger. So am I. It is true, you are stronger when being strong is the only way. And for me, I have package of grace and strength and mercy from the Lord. I just hope one day this will end. I mean the pain will end. Miracle is what we need. And we keep fixing our eyes on good things. Maybe, it is true — Good thing takes time.
and then smile...
Glad he still can smile
