Not sure why when I see this prompt, the song by Robbie Williams, titled "Better Man" is ringing in my head. We all sure want to do it better, don't we? Especially, as a human being on a daily basis. Are we even being human in the being? Or we just doing it because we want to do it better? Is there a difference between being and doing? My brain is being complicated now at midnight's writing and thinking.
I guess being human is not easy
Not saying it is without fun, but life itself on earth is complicated enough. Even more so this year, when the pandemic doesn't spare anyone from despair and obstacles. Well, we just hope, it will get better. Thinking positive is better than being negative and scared ourselves off. Not saying also then we deny all the difficulties and challenges, but we gotto look at them with hope, so that we won't go into depression or extreme confusion and fear.
Do it Better
Many lost their job. The other day, I saw on TV, a pilot is now selling food. And another one, air stewardess working at car workshop doing detailing. It ain't easy. But, with determination, human can somehow do it better. We have the best coping mechanism if we are well at our being. Himan are smart being. Our survival instinct, if not dampened, can propel us from failure to another success. I am also inspired by many lives here on Hive. Being diligent and committed to make Hive a success despite facing real challenges on real life.
It will get better
I truly believe, it will get better. We will get there. Somehow, somehow, really, at the end of tunnel, there will be light. We may be good everyday. Some days, life sucks. But, we still can pick up ourselves again and looking forward for a better tomorrow. I told my children that I will never be a perfect mummy or human. But what I will do is always be a better version of me than yesterday. And they totally agree. When I am not ok, I will tell them, I am not ok, I need some moment to quiet down, to pray, to ask God to show me, and then I will be okay.
I pray, whatever you are facing right now, may God shed His light on you, and somehow with His wisdom and guidance and power and love, you will find a way, do it better, be better. And that you will be okay.
