Speaking about widow's peak, I admired artists with widow's peak, because I think they look pretty with it. Unlike mine, I have a high forehead with straight hairline. When I was young, I remembered hearing from someone that cutting off some hair at the center of the hairline edge would boost the growth of more hair and then changing the hairline to have widow's peak.
Nah. All bluff. I tried twice hoping and being positive. I still remained straight hairline.
Later on, as I grew up, I embraced myself more and learning to love myself no matter how I looked, with widow's peak or not, I learned to give thanks for straight healthy hair not going bald. Learning to style my hair and finding the best look for my face, whether side parting or middle parting or no parting, with bangs or no bangs, WITHOUT widow's peak of course.
I actually forgot about this desire of mine during young time until I saw today's prompt. Haha. So yup, I just checked again my hairline, still, nope. No widow's peak. Just higher hairline, still straight. I noticed I had been losing some hair as I approached 40 years old. Time is catching up. Perhaps I need to buy some argan oil to nourish my scalp.
What about you? Do you also used to dream of having widow's peak?
Picture below is just for fun. I just app to cartoonise my selfie face. Turns out uglier than I imagine. See, no widow's peak at all. And still loving it.
