So many things in life can really show us a lesson that we never expected.
There was a tree behind my house that we tagged a "stubborn pear tree". The tree left it's path of growth and started growing across the fence.
The pear near was just neglected and no one was watering it or looking after it. Me and my family members always sit there when we are tired after a stressful day. Under that tree was my altar of peace.
Something happened one evening. I had a problem at my workplace and I was frustrated. My Boss sacked me and it was as if everything was just concerning my life was just upside down.
At this moment I walked down to the sturborn pear tree, looked up and saw a pear. The pear was really matured and big. It looked as if it was about to fall off it's stem.
The pear holding on to it's stem no matter how heavy it was taught me something about life, which is holding on when it feels as if it is the end.
So days past, I came back to find out that the pear has fallen down. I picked the pear, washed it, eat it, as it was looking very succulent.
This moment stayed glued to my heart. We might feel sometimes when we are in despair, this period makes you spoiled or finished. It might just be a small bruise. It never took out the substance and it is still sweet inside.
When I saw that lonely pear hanging on the tree, I'm being reminded that life does not end form the failure that we experience.
