I got scared while taking a bath because I heard some strange noises. At first, I didn’t mind it, but after a few minutes, I heard scratching on the ceiling. Hahaha! I really thought something scary was happening—only to find out it was just a cat chasing a rat. My goodness, it scared me to death! When the rat landed on the floor, the cat jumped, and I jumped too without even thinking. It was like a real-life “Tom and Jerry” scene right in front of me. I felt bad for the rat but I couldn’t stop laughing because our cat was so brave and intense while staring at it.
I call her “Mingay” because she’s a girl, and she has a very cute kitten. When she was pregnant, I thought she would have many babies, but it turned out she only had one—and it’s super adorable. They’re so cute to watch, especially when they lie next to each other and cuddle. They really look like humans when they cuddle, hahaha.
I play with Mingay whenever I’m sad because I feel like animals can sense when a person is feeling down. Every time we play, she wiggles her tail at me as if she’s asking for a hug. How cute is that?
Before, I used to hate cats because I thought they were always destructive, but they’re not like that at all. Cats choose the people they feel comfortable with—those who won’t hurt them. And once they sense that someone is a bad person, they really get triggered. I’m lucky because Mingay and her baby are very comfortable with me.
