I really respect security personnels who put their lives on the line to secure and protect lives and properties in any state and environment. Even though they are paid to do that, it is still necessary that we commend and encourage them for the risk they go through on daily basis.
Although there are still some criminal and terribly behaved ones among them who are corrupt, it does not change the fact that a most of them do their job diligently.
However as much as we commend them, we must also criticize and point out areas they need to improve on with particular regards to my country Nigeria
Nigeria is a largely populated country with multi ethnicity. According to statistics we are among the countries which are under policed. In addition to this, some who are already in the system do not have the required 21st century detective skills, hence I could refer to them as amateur detectives.
I want to hereby suggest and advice the government to do better by giving them adequate modern training to carry out their job effectively for better security in the country.
