First Sundays are always exciting and colorful for me in my church parish not just because it is usually a Thanksgiving day, but the changes usually done to the church aesthetics for the month, sets a different ambience for the Sundays ahead in the month.
As usual, the decoration unit of the church which I am a member would come on Saturday preceding the Sunday to decorate the church.
We all arrived that faithful Saturday to do the needful, after debating on the decoration styles to use, we finally agreed on a style.
We spent almost 6 hours fixing the designs, it was really tedious. While we were doing some finishing touches to it, the pastor came in to inspect the work.
On sighting the work, he was so displeased with the design. He just kept saying, " THIS IS NOT A DECORATION" he ordered for a total overhaul.
It was such a tiring day.
