Looking at the sea, I visualize far but so far that my sight is lost, I realize that there are so many things beyond what I see that it is practically impossible to see them all, much less from the same point.

And it makes me think of the limitations of this one, of my eyesight and most people's. How limited we are, not only because we can see up to a certain distance, but because our mind often sets itself limitations on a daily basis, sometimes imposed, sometimes learned from childhood.

But however we have learned to be limited, it is simply there. And fighting against this can be a difficult thing. But the best thing is to dare to do it, and the improvements in our lives will come with it.

Contemplando el mar, visualizo lejos pero tan lejos que mi vista se pierde, caigo en cuenta de que existen tantas cosas más allá de lo que veo que es prácticamente imposible verlas todas, mucho menos desde un mismo punto.

Y me hace pensar en las limitaciones de esta, de mi vista y la de la mayoría de las personas. Cuan limitados estamos, no sólo porque podemos ver hasta cierta distancia sino porque nuestra mente muchas veces se establece limitaciones de manera cotidiana, algunas veces impuestas, otras veces aprendidas desde la infancia.

Pero sea como sea que se hayan aprendido a estar limitado, sencillamente está. Y luchar contra esto puede ser algo difícil. Pero lo mejor es atrevernos a hacerlo, y las mejoras en nuestra vida vendrán con ellas.
