Hay cosas que solamente se pueden ver cuando uno se está en un “nicho”, y es que algunas veces solamente en foros especializados o lugares donde circula ese tipo de información cerrada, se puede dar con cosas realmente valiosas, y es que desde que tengo memoria, he sido una persona que ama todo lo relativo a la mecánica y aunque quizás no he tenido la oportunidad de tener una variedad absurda de cosas (carros, herramientas, proyectos) sí que al menos he logrado resolver ciertas cosas y al mismo tiempo aprender ciertos datos que son realmente importantes.
Pues no son cosas que todo mundo maneja y que al mismo tiempo tienen un cierto valor, y el mejor lugar para aprender de este tipo de cosas es adentrándose como quien dice en lo más profundo de este tipo de mundos, lo cual, si bien no es fácil de buenas a primeras, basta un par de tiempo, investigación y personas que quieran compartir su conocimiento para dar con los mejores datos.
Y es que he estado en un par de grupos de ciertos carros que siempre me han gustado o he admirado y otros en los que son algo más “comunes” por así decirlo, para dar con cosas más sencillas del día a día, pero a veces, uno se sorprende con las cosas que uno puede ver en este país, y es que en Venezuela, si bien no es común ver carros de ultralujo, hubieron otras épocas en las que realmente sí que había una facilidad dada la bonanza que había para poder ver en las calles algunas cosas bien particulares.
Y resulta que hace no mucho, estaba como no, un día normal, un día más, leyendo sobre que había de nuevo en el grupo, cuando habían lanzado una publicación que estaba dando mucho que hablar, pues se había llenado de comentarios y cosas, y es que era un integrante del grupo de los más “respetados” por decirlo de una manera, que tenía una joyita en su poder desde hace un tiempo y le habían ofrecido un dinero para hacerse con él.
Aunque sonara a locura era un modelo que podría decirse era una especie de unicornio, pues era raro de ver, era importado y aunque la realidad es que a muchos nos hubiera gustado hacernos con él, pues la realidad es que las piezas podrían ser difíciles de encontrar, el carro realmente no estaba “rodando” pues tenía tiempo mucho tiempo guardado y realmente iba a necesitar una mini restauración para dar con su puesta en marcha.
Pero gracias a que es precisamente un modelo fuera de lo común y al mismo tiempo importado, iba a ser complicado encontrar las piezas acá, cuando el que hizo la publicación nos comentó que el que no quisiera que el carro se fuera, pero que si no había nadie que fuera capaz de superar el precio que le ofrecían, o algo similar, pues él iba a tener que darle salida al mismo, en la publicación había quienes estaban a favor y en contra de ello.
Ya que aunque algunos dijeran “lo mejor es exportar el dragón”, otros decían “esa joya merece quedarse en Venezuela”, y algunos más osados (miembros nuevos) hablaban que este solo quería sacar provecho y ver si alguien le daba más por solo sacar algo de “plata”, pero la realidad es que aunque duela, realmente es una maldad, tener algo que no se vaya a usar y que simplemente no esté en las calles, pues al menos a mí pensar, un auto está hecho para eso para rodar independientemente de lo que pueda ser su rareza o no y para estar arrumado en un espacio, mejor darle salida si esa otra persona que compra hará volverlo a rodar y darle una mejor vida, al final.. pues se vendió, se fue del país ese unicornio que seguramente ya estará en su proceso de vuelta a la vida.

And I have been in a couple of groups of certain cars that I have always liked or admired and others in which they are somewhat more “common” so to speak, to find simpler things of everyday life, but sometimes, one is surprised with the things you can see in this country, and is that in Venezuela, although it is not common to see ultra-luxury cars, there were other times when there really was an ease given the bonanza that was to see in the streets some very particular things.
And it turns out that not long ago, I was reading about what was new in the group, when they had launched a publication that was giving much to talk about, because it had been filled with comments and things, and it was a member of the group of the most “respected” to put it one way, who had a jewel in his possession for some time and had been offered money to get it.
Although it sounded crazy, it was a model that could be said was a kind of unicorn, because it was rare to see, it was imported and although the reality is that many of us would have liked to get it, because the reality is that the parts could be difficult to find, the car was not really “rolling” because it had long been stored and really needed a mini restoration to get it up and running.
But thanks to the fact that it is precisely a model out of the ordinary and at the same time imported, it was going to be complicated to find the parts here, when the person who made the publication told us that whoever did not want the car to go, but if there was no one who was able to beat the price offered, or something similar, he was going to have to sell it, in the publication there were those who were for and against it.
Although some said “the best thing to do is to export the dragon”, others said “that jewel deserves to stay in Venezuela”, and some more daring (new members) said that he just wanted to take advantage and see if someone would give him more for just getting some “money”, but the reality is that even if it hurts, it is really a bad thing, to have something that is not going to be used and that simply is not on the streets, because at least to me to think, a car is made for that to roll regardless of what may be its rarity or not and to be stored in a space, better to give it out if that other person who buys will make it to roll it again and give it a better life, in the end. . it was sold, that unicorn left the country and will surely be in the process of coming back to life.
