An unusual prompt for this week's ZAPFIC Monday challenge. The word "science" presented the opportunity to explore a fast-developing area of medical understanding in the area of human reproduction. Although the scientific breakthroughs mean more opportunities for couples, human intervention and handling my create unwanted errors.
I've read numerous accounts of males donating sperm to repositories; however, some mistakes have occurred in matching donor with prospective couples. I share a flash fiction story along those lines.

In the waiting room, both females sat quietly. Neither knew why she was summoned.
Reading, they missed each other's gaze.
Audrey entered the back office first.
