I feel a dark story on the horizon for this week's ZAPFIC50 Friday challenge. This challenge created by Hive account@felt-buzz is told in exactly fifty (50) words and presented the opportunity to explore the prompt "dark" without using the word to visualize a haunting situation. Usually the word is associated with something unpleasant. I hope you enjoy my version for the word.

My story is below:

Jared stared down the alley, where the night seemed to solidify into something ominous.

A creeping uncertainty pounded his chest.

"You're dead. I buried you!" he shouted, as Maria's shape materialized.

Dropping to his knees, passersby called paramedics.

Word vomit led to police summoning, who arrested Jared for Maria's disappearance.

Intuyo que se avecina una historia oscura para el reto ZAPFIC50 de este viernes. Este reto, creado por Hive account@felt-buzz, se narra en exactamente cincuenta (50) palabras y ofrece la oportunidad de explorar el tema «oscuro» sin utilizar esa palabra, para evocar una situación inquietante. Ayuda inexplicable en el caso sin resolver

Jared miró fijamente hacia el callejón, donde la noche parecía solidificarse en algo siniestro.

Una inquietud creciente le oprimía el pecho.

«¡Estás muerta! ¡Te enterré!», gritó, mientras la silueta de María se materializaba.

Al caer de rodillas, los transeúntes llamaron a los servicios de emergencia.

Sus desvaríos provocaron la intervención de la policía, que detuvo a Jared por la desaparición de María.
