Not every king wears a crown, some rule through fear, failure, or silence.
In my life, I've come to recognize these "kings" not as men on thrones, but as barriers: the fear of starting small, the oppression of ignorance, the decay of morality in our society, and the voice that says, “You can’t make a difference.”
But I oppose the king.
When I stood before my classmates as a leader, encouraging them to take their academic lives seriously, I opposed the king of passivity.
When I led fellowship members into evangelism, preaching Christ in the streets of Lafia, I opposed the king of spiritual dormancy.
When I picked up pawpaw fruits for lab analysis or wrote pages on Citrobacter’s power in bio-farming, I opposed the king of environmental neglect.
When I told my friends about Hive, shared Splinterlands strategies, or posted motivational reflections from the heart, I stood against the king of wasted potential.
My life is a protest, against complacency, against injustice, against the lie that small beginnings can’t birth greatness.
Oppose the king? I already am.
With lifted hands, a pen in motion, and a purpose that burns brighter each day, I walk not under the rule of fear, but under the reign of truth and vision.
