"Not Really a Conservative"
They say I’m a conservative.
But I’m not really. Not in the way they define it.
Because when I stand with brothers like Titus and Julius,
It’s not to protect the past, but to live the present fully, with purpose and joy.
This picture says a lot without words:
Three young men, clothed in confidence, rooted in faith.
We didn’t come together to uphold outdated customs...
We gathered to celebrate growth, service, and vision.
I conserve values, yes...
Respect, integrity, godliness,
But not out of fear of change.
I welcome change, but only the kind that knows where it came from.
At Federal University Lafia,
We are not just students.
We are builders—of faith, of minds, of a future
That honors our roots but doesn’t chain us to them.
So, no,
I’m not really a conservative.
I’m just Hussaini Paul Kasimu (),
Learning, leading, growing—
With brothers by my side,
And the courage to redefine what tradition means.
