"Follow That Cat!"
It all started on a quiet afternoon. I was scrolling through my notes on the Hive blockchain, thinking of my next post, when, out of nowhere, a cat brushed past my feet and vanished into the bushes.
At first, I ignored it. But then I heard someone shout,
“Follow that cat!”
I looked up, no one. Maybe it was in my head?
Or maybe it was curiosity, tugging at me the way Hive tugs at my creativity.
Without thinking too hard, I grabbed my slippers and followed it.
Through narrow paths, behind a neighbor’s fence, past the old unpainted church wall.
I kept going, feeling both silly and thrilled.
The cat moved with purpose, leaping, pausing, watching me from time to time.
It was like it was guiding me somewhere.
Then suddenly… it stopped.
There, in a quiet corner behind a mango tree, I saw something unexpected:
A group of children, barefoot and bright-eyed, learning under a tree from a local volunteer.
I froze. The cat curled at their feet and meowed as if it brought me here for a reason.
At that moment, I smiled.
Sometimes you don’t need a map.
Just follow your curiosity, your heart, or even a random cat,
and it might lead you to something meaningful.
Who knows?
Maybe God uses the strangest things to guide us.
Today, for me… it was a cat.
