Life Insurance
Life insurance in my country, Venezuela, is impossible, as impossible as having public life insurance or having the state guarantee your healthcare. Both are impossible tasks in my country. It's sad, it's regrettable, but that's how it is.
If I had the opportunity to go to a country where my health and well-being were guaranteed through dignified work, I wouldn't hesitate.
I don't want handouts. I want to work with dignity and live in a country that, thanks to my effort, guarantees me decent healthcare, a decent education, and a decent life.
Life insurance is essential for the population; a government should guarantee and promote it.
It's a shame that it remains just a dream for the vast majority of Venezuelans.
I became curious and researched which countries offer their citizens decent life insurance, and to my surprise, Taiwan's healthcare system model is truly commendable. It's a single-payer model administered by the state that achieves universal coverage for 99.9% of the population. Funding is tripartite, supported by contributions from employees, employers, and government subsidies—the lowest in the world. Access to medical care is guaranteed as a right through digital infrastructure, not based on individual ability to pay.
How wonderful it would be if this could be possible for most countries in the world, instead of living in endless wars and conflicts.

Me dio curiosidad e investigué que país ofrece a sus ciudadanos un seguro de vida digno y para mi sorpresa el modelo del sistema de salud de Taiwán me parece digno de elogio, es un modelo de pagador único administrado por el Estado que logra una cobertura universal del 99.9% de la población. El financiamiento es tripartito, sustentado por contribuciones de empleados, empleadores y subsidios gubernamentales, el más bajo del mundo. Donde se garantiza que el acceso médico sea un derecho por la infraestructura digital y no por la capacidad de pago individual.
Que maravilla si esto pudiera ser posible para la mayoría de los países del mundo, en vez de vivir en guerras y conflictos interminables.
