The gentleman came into the restaurant. The doorman asked his name: "Jake Brown", he replied with an English intonation. "Be welcome sir", "follow me, I'll show you your table" said the doorman. They both walked to a nice spot overlooking a huge fishbowl with huge goldfish swimming gently to the sound of a violin that was entertaining the night. "Are you ready to order, sir" inquired the waitress. "No yet", muttered Jake, "I'm waiting for another person", please bring me a scotch on the rocks". "Certainly, sir" replied the waitress. A huge sound roared in the sky, it started thundering and lightning followed by a heavy rain like if the doors of a dam had been opened. Twenty minutes elapsed and still it was raining heavily outside. Mr. Jake looked at his watch over and over with desperation. The rain didn't let up and his glass of scotch was over. Mr. Jake raised his hands calling the attention of the waitress, who came as fast as she could, he told her, "I'm ready to order, I'll have dinner for one"
