Welcome back Readers
Later this week you'll start being introduced to some of the Saith royal family members. To get ahead of all the possible questions that may be asked I'm going to give brief descriptions of some of the characters.
Saasha Blood Dancer's Family
The main character of books 1 and 2 of the Seeking series. Originally orphaned, she was adopted by Tomax (soldier) and Aurus (engineer) who were expecting twins at the time (Aastii and Kessa). Her uncle was Pakaz, who was King of the Saith through an election.
After attending the Royal Guard Academy, she would eventually wear the red of General, while her husband wore the blue of Captain. She remained General until she eventually was given the throne by her uncle.
She was married to Brucel Royal Guard (bloodline), who sadly passed in book 1. Her first son (Larden) was carried by a surrogate, while she bore her second son (Brucel). She also adopted a Dekai child by the name of Jethron. She had no more children after the loss of her husband and never remarried.
In book 2, you're introduced to her biological parents Silens Bellatrix and Baks Royal Guard (position). In an attack that nearly killed Silens and Saasha, her mother lost the ability to bear more children. Baks, in a fury, ended up killing the Kai royal family and was banished for his crimes. To save Saasha from the fate of her father, Pakaz hid the fact that she survived the attack from her mother and father.
It wasn't until the third book, that Silens, wanting more children, convinced her now very weary husband, to have a surrogate carry children for them. Silens could have children but was unable to carry them. This pregnancy resulted in triplets by the name of Bolx, Siar, and Gatex. These are the blood siblings to Saasha.
It is Bolx who will be introduced later this week. Hopefully, this small explanation helps you understand where everyone fits into the broader picture.
