The #ZapFicMonday is a literary initiative from the Freewriters Community in which writers have to create a story, using the prompt provided, with 240 characters or less.

The Final Check

The Smiths gathered around the dining table. With a sense of accomplishment, the dad the final check for their car lease. As they sealed the envelope, smiles exchanged spoke of hard work and commitment: they were now finally free from debt!
