Mom that noise, those were Pablo's words every night, after his father died, Pablo would hear a rumbling sound falling to the floor, only he heard it, no one else heard anything.
The next day he would tell his mother that it sounded like dishes and pots falling at the same time at the back of their house.
Pablo's mother was a little worried, because she had never heard anything in that house, although some neighbors said that the house had a mystery, but she had never seen or heard anything strange.
With the death of Pablo's father, he felt very lonely and sad and often cried in solitude to alleviate his grief. Pablo was only 8 years old when he helped his mother sell some canned food that she prepared. They were very poor and his mother worked very hard to pay the household expenses.
One night Pablo, tired of hearing the thunderous noise, decided to go out to see what he was hearing. Surprised to find a small lamp with a very bright light in the hallway of the house, Pablo thought that his mother had left it there to illuminate the house a little, and tried to take it to go out to where he had heard the noise and the lamp moved by itself towards the outside of the house. Pablo, very scared, ran to his bed and tucked himself in from head to toe.
The next day, Pablo told her what he had seen in the night, his mother a little incredulous asked him that tonight they would sleep together and he would call her when he heard such a noise.
So it was at night when Pablo heard the noise, he called his mother and they both went out to see, the lamp was again in the middle of the hallway, but Pablo's mother could not see anything.
Pablo took her by the hand and they decided to follow the lamp that went all the way to the back of the house.
Pablo saw that the lamp was fixed at the foot of a tree, and managed to take it, at that moment that Pablo took the lamp, everything was illuminated, now his mother could see the lamp, but they decided to go to sleep. The next day, Pablo and his mother went to the foot of the tree and decided to dig. They dug and dug without rest until a few meters away they felt a small old wooden trunk and pulled it out.
They decided to go to the house to try to open it and until they finally managed to open it, there were some gold pieces inside, and a note that said: To my great-great-grandson, "Always chase the light and you will find; life, knowledge and courage".
