Esperando
En el pasillo iluminado de la estancia,
la Gata espera a quien no llegará.
Ella, la Gata, tiene paciencia,
está tranquila ante la demora.
Intuye que es la hora,
que es el tiempo exacto del encuentro
entre ella y su dueño;
no es un sueño, es ahora.
Waiting
In the brightly lit hallway,
the Cat waits for the one who will never arrive.
She, the Cat, is patient,
she is calm in the face of the delay.
She feels that the time has come,
that it is the exact moment of the meeting
between her and her owner;
it is not a dream, it is now.
