Motorcycles are the bicycle of doom in Venezuela. Every day we encounter out-of-control motorcyclists who disregard traffic laws, run red lights, and weave between vehicles, endangering not only their own lives but also those of pedestrians and drivers. Urban cycling is invading our roads with so-called "motorcycle stunts," performed by individuals who clearly have no fear of death. Irresponsible people perform these maneuvers in front of your vehicle at excessive speeds, lifting the motorcycle onto one wheel, like a wheelie, and leaving their bodies practically hanging in mid-air. It is a very dangerous practice that was declared a national sport by the president of the republic in 2024, with fatal results that have cost the lives of many young people. Although this type of act has been prohibited throughout the country, the damage caused by the bicycle of doom in our society is irreversible.
La bicicleta de la fatalidad
Las motocicletas son la bicicleta de la fatalidad en Venezuela, a diario nos encontramos con motociclistas fuera de control, que no respetan las leyes de tránsito, pasan con el semáforo en rojo, sigzaguean entre vehículos, no solo ponen en peligro sus vidas, sino también la de peatones y conductores.
El ciclismo urbano invaden nuestras carreteras con los llamados moto piruetas, alguien que sin dudas no le teme a la muerte, personas irresponsables haciendo estas maniobras delante de tu vehículo y en exceso de velocidad, levantan la moto quedando en una rueda, tipo caballito, despegan el cuerpo de la moto quedando prácticamente guindado en aire, es una práctica muy peligrosa la cual fue declarada como deporte nacional por el presidente de la república en el 2024, con resultados fatales costó la pérdida de vida de muchos jóvenes, aunque se prohibió este tipo acto en todo el país, el daño causado por la bicicleta de la fatalidad en nuestra sociedad es irreversible.
