Cut the cord
Bombs in movies are used to achieve a goal, or to gain an advantage, something like manipulating something in favor of whoever plants it. They don't always have a red and a blue wire; sometimes they add another color to increase the tension. The minutes tick by quickly, and the adrenaline is pumping.
The bomb disposal expert, after following a specific protocol, knows exactly which wire to cut, but doesn't act quickly, even though he's certain that cutting the red wire to the detonator is the right move. A terrifying silence fills the air, a suspense that seems to stop time. It's as if words could detonate the bomb.
The expert knows exactly when to order the red wire to be cut, but he hesitates, waiting until the last second to speak. The one with the wire cutters waits for the magic word, suspicious, but proceeds nonetheless, his chest about to explode. He has no certainty, yet he hopes to neutralize the bomb, but he can't shake the feeling that at any moment the boom will sound and it will all be over.

Cortar el cable
Las bombas en las películas, son utilizadas para obtener un fin, o una ventaja en algo, algo así como para manipular algo a favor de quien la coloca, no siempre trae un cable rojo y uno azul a veces le colocan un color más para aumentar la tensión.
Los minutos pasan rápido y la adrenalina a mil por hora, mientras el experto en desactivacion después de cierto protocolo sabe realmente cual es el color a cortar, pero no actúa con rapidez aunque tenga la certeza de que cortar el cable rojo para el detonador, se llena de un silencio aterrador, un suspenso que parece detener el tiempo, es como si las palabras pudieran hacer detonar la bomba, el experto sabe que cuando exactamente mandar a cortar el cable rojo pero se detiene, espera hasta el último segundo para articular palabras, el que está con el cortacables en mano espera la palabra mágica, desconfía pero de igual forma procede con toda su caja torácica a punto de estallar, él si no tiene certezas sin embargo espera poder neutralizar pero no puede evitar la sensación de que en cualquier momento suene el boom y todo acabe.
