In the city of Kuma, there lived a young girl named Eme, who stayed with her aunty as her parents were late. Her aunty sends her to the forest daily to fetch firewood for cooking.
One day, while she was doing her usual gathering of firewood, she saw a stranger lying in a pool of blood. The man was bleeding so heavily as a result of the injury he sustained while doing what he loves best. Being a local girl, she knew the herbs she could combine to stop the man from bleeding.

After the application, the bleeding stopped. The stranger who was now feeling better opened his eyes and saw a beautiful damsel. "You are my guardian angel, I came hunting and I ended up being hunted. I'm grateful for your kindness"
She gave him the herbs and instructed him on how to apply them. Not knowing kindness and love for others can be our way of opening doors. The local Eme didn't know she saved the life of a prince.
Weeks later, after the prince was fully healed. He came to the Kuma to find Eme. Being a popular girl in the village, finding her was not a big task. The prince, the king and his Kingsmen all came with different gift items to appreciate Eme. They signed a contract to train her in her tertiary institution.
Eme was so proud that her kindness, boldness and selflessness have paid her in an unexpected way. She rejected the gifts but accepted the offer of training her in the university. She brought a good name to the village and herself.
