I feel the boy is hiding from someone, probably because he had done something wrong. Sometimes we peep because we are afraid of the consequences of what will happen if we are caught. And when we peep through a tiny hole, it prevent us from the bigger picture that may be full with many possibilities
the story using the picture as the prompt
Charles an ardent lover of soccer had been warned by his father never to see him playing soccer on the street again. But that is a hard instruction to keep for Charles. Every evening Charles snick out of the house to go play soccer with his friends at jaja's street since it was far away from their house and out of the reach of his parents.
Charles's father was just like Charles when he was the age of Charles, he loved soccer so much and was good at it. His warning to Charles never to play soccer was born out of the incident that happened to him while playing soccer a long time ago. He used to wear Jersey number 10 and was called okocha in the field. A name he earned from his dribbling skill. In one of their soccer match with a neighboring village, he was displaying his dribbling skills as usual and the girls were cheering him up by screaming, okocha, okocha, okocha, while he enjoy the attention, suddenly a player from the opposite side kicked him in the leg that immediately left him with dislocation and broken bones. This incident kept him on the hospital bed for months and this led his parent to selling all their properties and house to pay his hospital bills and his leg never became straight again. Whenever he sees Charles playing soccer, its remind him of the incident and fear it would happened to Charles also.
Charles had gone to jaja street as usual to go play soccer, he was enjoying the play, and fortunately for him after passing the ball to his team mate saw his father coming toward their direction. He quickly ran into an abandoned container that was not far from the field. Peeping through it to see whether his father had pass before coming out of the container.
